A Spoonful of Sofrito: Best Chicken Wings for the Super Bowl!

A Spoonful of Sofrito: A pinch of advice that will add a lot of flavor to your life.

Best Chicken Wings Ever!

Sofrito Lovers,

This Sunday is the Super Bowl!! And, I couldn't give a fuck if you paid me! Sorry folks, but it should be no surprise that I don't care!  The closest I've ever come to being an athlete was the time I entered a pie eating contest, which I lost, but I did get to keep some of the pies!

To be blunt, I don't exercise and I've no interest in watching others exercise on TV.  If there is one redeeming element of this ritualized waste of time is the delicious party food.

With wings, beer, Bratwurst, and Hot dogs around, why the hell would anyone care about a bunch of guys running up and down a field?  I don't get it.

Listen, I'm not a hater at all, I just don't care, but I won't be a party pooper!  In fact, I've posted an awesome Fried Chicken wing recipe for all you Super Bowl Party planners.  Originally posted on YouTube's Cuban cooking channel, Cookedbyjulie, this recipe is easy to follow and yields some incredibly tasty wings!

Happy Super Bowl or whatever the hell the proper salutation is!  Have fun with your awesome wings!  Let me know, what you think of them!  Go taste for yourself! ¡Buen Provecho!

A Spoonful fo Sofrito: Mondongo/Latino Tripe Soup!

A Spoonful fo Sofrito: A pinch of advice that will add a lot of flavor to your life.

Mondongo/Latino Tripe Soup!

Sofrito Lovers,

Unfortunately this weekend, I wasn't able to cook!  As you all know, I'm a weekend Top Chef and my heavenly meals make my BearBear David lick his lips in joy, but this weekend I had too much going on to throw down in the kitchen.

I was planning on making another delicious soup, but I ran out of time to shop, prepare, and make The FreakinRican's amazing Mondongo (Puerto Rican style Beef Tripe Soup) recipe.  Still, I decided to post The FreakinRican's amazing cooking tutorial so you can see how incredible this dish truly is!

How can you go wrong with delicious tripe, carrots, sofrito, and potatoes?  It'll probably be next Sunday night's dinner special, I hope it'll be yours as well!

Check out the tutorial, then get to cooking! Go taste for yourself.  ¡Buen Provecho!
