Salvadoran Pupusas as Made by Curly and His Abuelita!

Sofrito Lovers,

Pupusas are pure Salvadoran love!  One hundred years ago, I lived in Washington D.C. and I fell in love with the Salvadoran culture, music, and most importantly FOOD!  The epitome of Salvadoran food is the world famous Pupusa!

Pupusas are corn tortillas that are filled with beans, meat, vegetables, cheese, or any combination of these four; they're fried, amazing, and simply delicious.

Click the Tasty Video link below and watch a DIY cooking tutorial hosted by Salvadoran YouTuber Curly and his adorable abuela (grandmother) Gladys!

It's funny, cute, and very informative!  Watch, learn, and then go taste for yourself ¡Buen Provecho!

Grocery Store Hot Sauces Ranked Worst To Best!

Sofrito Lovers,

Do you like hot sauce?  To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of hot sauce or any other spicy condiment, but on occasion, I've been known to ask for the Sriracha, Tapatio, or Frank's Red Hot just to add a bit of "oomph" to the delicious meal sitting in front of me.

If you're new to the spice game or if you're curious to see how your favorite pique-hot sauce in Puerto Rican vernacular-stacks up, then check out the Mash video posted below.

I never knew the world famous Mexican Tapatio is actually from California or that Tobasco Sauce's recipe has never been altered since its inception over 150 years ago.  Who knew spicy condiments could be so fascinating?

Go taste for yourself.  ¡Buen provecho!
