This week, Pilar Cuban Bakery is opening in Brooklyn and will be serving an assortment of Cuban pastries and freshly baked Pan Cubano (Cuban bread). This is exactly what we need right now! Another Latino bakery and not another one of those bougie bullshit cupcake shops!
Located in Brooklyn, Pilar Cuban Bakery will be attached to Pilar Cuban Eatery,an amazing Cuban restaurant, you must check out as well. I cannot wait to make my way down there to enjoy some incredible Guayaba pastries and order a few loaves of Pan Cubano- a flaky and delicious Cuban delicacy.

A Sunny Miami-Style Cuban Bakery Dives Into Brooklyn This Week
Pilar Cuban Bakery will act as an extension to Pilar Cuban Eatery next door 
The restaurateur has paid homage to his native cuisine at Pilar Cuban Eatery in Bed-Stuy for nine years, and now, he’s taking it up a notch by adding a bakery next door to showcase the baked goods that star in Cuba.
Pilar Cuban Bakery — opening this Thursday, at 397 Greene Ave., between Bedford and Franklin Avenues — will mimic the Cuban cafes of Miami, where sugary pastries and strong coffee are sold from to-go windows at tiny, family-owned shops.
