Mark your calendars for one of the best food festivals in New York City: The Uptown Night Market on Thursday, September 14th, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.!
Since April, The Uptown Night Market has been hosting their food festival on the 2nd Thursday of every month. The food, fun, and festivities have been incredible. My first visit was in August, and I had a wonderful time sampling some of the best West Harlem (and the rest of NYC) has to offer.
I gorged myself on the tasty West Indian fare (curry chicken with rice and peas), delicious vegan dishes (who knew salads could be tantalizing?), and mouth-watering West African cuisine (Jollof rice with pepper soup). After that giant meal, I felt so full that I decided to take a cab back home to the Bronx. I blissfully slept the entire trip home.
All it took was one visit for me to fall in love with this event. I intend to be there on Thursday night to eat, drink, and dance the night away. I hope to see you there!
