A Spoonful of Sofrito: A pinch of advice that will add a lot of flavor to your life.

60 Cheap Eats Destinations You Should Know About in NYC!

Sofrito Lovers,

60 cheap eats in NYC, there's nothing better than that!  So if you're looking for some inexpensive, delicious, and local fare this weekend, then look no further than this post.

As always the foodie genius (and my personal hero) Robert Sietsema, from Eater.com, has compiled yet another deliciously handy dandy list of eateries we should all frequent and support.

I'm proud to say that I'm a huge fan of some of Sietsema's choices (Great minds and such!) such as Cafe Zaiya (Amazing Ramen), Casa Adela (Incredible Puerto Rican food), and Gurra Cafe (Hearty Albanian food).

Make this a foodie weekend!  Get out there and try some new cuisine! Check out the post below, get your sneakers on, and go taste for yourself! ¡Buen Provecho!

As restaurant prices continue to soar, finding a cheap restaurant meal becomes more of a priority. And if the inexpensive feed is not only delicious but also interesting, and maybe even outside your previous dining experience, all the better. From time to time, I post about cheap restaurantsI’ve stumbled on in the five boroughs and adjacent metropolitan areas, devoting a paragraph or two to each and making a few menu recommendations. Here is a collection of those restaurants, listed alphabetically!

  1. The service is awful. They treated me horrible for wanting reservations for 40 people 3 months in advance. So sorry to patron your business. Trust me it wont happen again. You have way too much competition to act like that.
